nextian requested this fic (House, AU) which is cool because I had no idea that more than four people in the world had ever READ it :D Looks like I'm doing another creepy-kidnapping-pairings story! (This is liminalliz's lucky day, clearly.)

I promised back when I first wrote this fic that I would write a commentary for it because the sheer amount of references and meta that went into it were worth explaining, but it's taken me over six months to find the time :D And man, did it take time. I needed to write this out for myself, so that I could make some of the concepts cohere, but if anyone wants a peek at how my brain works when I'm writing...this'll probably give you a fair picture :)
